My first car, a 1952 Porsche coupe. I still have the "Shop manual"
that I purchased for the car at Vasek Polak (the Porsche dealer in Manhattan
Beach, Ca). I purchaesd the car for $225 after riding my bike past it numerous
times while on my paper route. I was 14 years old. The car was parked on
the street at xxxxx Isis Ave looking neglected and in need of a friend.
As I recall it was BRG in color with lots of cracking bondo. It may have
looked neglected but there was something very appealing about those curves
and a very warm sounding Telefunken radio. Notice our beautiful 1959 Studebaker
Lark it matches our house! The Studebaker was given to Cathy as a high
school graduation gift.
